PEACE AND PROSPERITY - A MANIFESTO FOR CHANGE |
A realistic model for sustainable living in and beyond the 21st century - for a people and resource-based society. Prosperity and social justice are the pre-requisites for peace, political stability, social harmony and environmental responsibility. |
The root cause of so many ills of today, both socially and economically, are the result of a broken political system, corruption and the erosion of democracy. Two key elements contributing to this decline is the party-political system and the loss of sovereignty over national currency.
The 3 most important changes required for every nation state.
1. Regain control over national currency and the creation/distribution of money, breaking the chains of debt-based money supply from the big banks. The printing of money by a sovereign state has been and will continue to be the source of funding for government spending.
2. The abolition of taxation, which can only be carried out by sovereign nations with direct control over their sovereign currency. This would mean the removal of the inland revenue and all policies trying to clamp down on money laundering because without taxation, money laundering wouldn't exist. In fact, the black economy would become part of the real economy, and everybody could trade without consent or surveillance by the state and without the need for tax returns.
3. An end to the party-political system and political lobbying to be a crime. No more state funded bailouts of private banks and corporations – an end to state sponsored corporate fascism.
A practical and painless way out of the global crisis is to embark on a new strategy for economic reform. IT CANNOT BE OVERSTATED – our current system of governance and economic policy has dragged us into a ‘race to the bottom’. We are in a serious crisis.
Solving the Global Crisis can be achieved by implementing the policy objectives and initiatives below – it really is that simple! No negative impact on the majority of people, no more corporate fascism, no major change to our existing lifestyles, no period of austerity and no chaotic period of transition - just a simple fast-track path to prosperity and a fairer society. Failure to do so will result in long-term recession, increased unemployment, increased poverty, increased cultural damage, social deprivation, civil unrest and probably war.
POLICY OBJECTIVES
We need to achieve the following set of policy objectives if we really want to affect a lasting economic and social recovery across the developed world. Prosperity really is the key – the only key!
• To provide a solution for all citizens around the world to end inept government, corrupt international financial systems and global economic failure.
• To build a new social economic system focused on people and resources for balanced sustainable living – sustainable living that strengthens the individual, the family and the community.
• To introduce a social economic system that offers full employment, early retirement with full non-contributory pensions for the ‘over 55s’ and affordable homes – the 3 keys to a sustainable economy.
• To establish a new system of money creation and distribution that is independent of the government and banks. An end to debt driven economics.
• To establish a new system for government funding and spending that relates directly to projects and services that are approved by the electorate.
• To establish a new system of governance that returns democracy back to the people and takes power back from the banks, large corporations and the ever-increasing centralisation of government. Introduction of a system of direct democracy through representation and consultative referendum – an end to the corrupt party-political system.
• To establish a framework for sustainable living through increased economic development and autonomy at the regional level.
• To achieve the goals of social harmony and economic stability through prosperity, peace, freedom and self-determination.
POLICY INITIATIVES - for an effective economic stimulus and stability package.
Implementation of these initiatives will ensure a rapid transition to economic sustainability, political stability, social harmony and environmental responsibility - through prosperity and peace. It really is the only practical way forward.
• Income tax will be abolished.
• Sales tax (VAT) will be set at 15% on goods, materials, energy and fuel, 0% on labour and community farm produce.
• Personal economic dividends of 800 per month for everyone aged 18 and above, or the equivalent to 80% of a country’s recognised 'living wage'.
• Retirement dividends of 400 per month for everyone choosing to retire at the age of 55 or above. This will be paid in addition to a persons’ personal economic dividend, giving a total dividend equivalent to 120% of a country’s recognised 'living wage'.
• Banks will no longer be able to print money.
• Money printing will be via a crypto money creation and distribution App (Free Money) on the blockchain, that automatically credits people, public services and public administrations with monthly economic dividends.
• ‘Free Money’ can be taken as cash using existing ATMs and spent without surveillance – cash is king.
• Public services like hospitals, schools, police, fire etc, will be funded by ‘Free Money with annual budgets based on the number of people served.
• Public administration such as national government and local/regional councils will be funded by ‘Free Money with annual budgets based on the number of people served.
• Small business development loans from regional banks like the classical German model with loan money created by ‘Free Money’ managed by the regional banks, interest fixed at 5%.
• CBDCs to be outlawed along with mandatory digital id and social credit systems.
• The right to use cash will be enshrined in a nation’s constitution.
• Tax revenue services to police illegal business activities, nothing else.
• Customs and excise services to police VAT collection, illegal trade, import/export and border security only, nothing else.
• All sovereign debt to be written off. An end to sovereign debt means an end to government borrowing. An end to government borrowing means an end to debt slavery and government sponsored embezzlement of public funds by the private banks in the form of sovereign debt 'interest' repayments.
• Planning reforms to favour home-owners and small businesses.
• Self-build home programs will be introduced for the construction of affordable, low energy homes - 75m2 homes with a target self-build cost of around 50,000 Euros to build or the equivalent to 50x a country’s recognised monthly 'living wage'.
• Planning regulations changed so that everyone with a piece of land can self-build a single storey home using natural materials from zero loss resource management initiatives, so long as the visual impact is low and home density land use guidelines are respected.
• Self-build home loans that are limited to 3 times a person’s salary to be created by ‘Free Money’ and managed by the regional banks, interest fixed at 2%.
• Reducing rubbish and waste means that everything produced must be 100% recyclable with a design mandate for easy repair rather than replacement – fuel being the only exception but alongside a long-term clean energy strategy.
• End student debt by converting all university and NHS student loans to education dividends which need never be repaid, all repayments made on past student loans to be reimbursed in full.
• Annual tax returns along with taxation related administration will no longer be required – they will no longer exist.
• Outsourcing by any institution of the state to be banned and service-based employment of local people to be used instead.
• A new Gold Standard for international trade as the means by which exchange rates can be calculated, based on current costs of equal weights of gold in each of the trading nations.
• Tax revenues to be collected only from VAT and corporation tax levied on companies with annual sales revenues greater than 10 million euros.
• No more stealth taxes means that indirect taxation like national insurance, inheritance tax, stamp duty and capital gains tax will be abolished.
• No more bank bailouts of privately owned banks and corporations. No more state funding of private sector debt - bad banks and bad corporations must be allowed to fail. This to be backed up with a depositor compensation scheme for all accounts up to 100,000 Euros or the equivalent to 100x a country’s recognised monthly 'living wage'.
• An end to party politics means the corrupt party-political system will be replaced with direct democracy and consultative referendum. This means that parliament will consist only of independent MPs whose job is solely to administer projects and budgets that have been approved by the electorate via consultative referendum,
• Ban political lobbying and make it a criminal offence - no more vested interest and bribery in the political process,
• Reform of public institutions to establish small government with minimal ‘red tape’, reduced regulation and minimal state intervention.
• Utility services will be taken back under public ownership and run by ‘not for profit’ public service providers with water, sewage and rubbish run under the management and ownership of local communities and regions. No more control by outside commercial interests.
The result of these changes would once again make MPs true public servants and dramatically reduce the size of the civil service and ‘deep state’.
These policy initiatives must be implemented and maintained if we are to return to social, cultural and economic good health. If not, we'll never recover and we'll surely continue to suffer this era of lost dreams, lost hope and cultural devastation. |
The most important reforms are described with full details of policy and financing in the section [ principles of change | A MANIFESTO FOR CHANGE ]. These reforms are absolutely necessary to initiate positive reform of our political systems. Policy in all areas of state involvement needs urgent attention but must be part of an ongoing process of consensual change through a system of direct democracy and consultative referendum.

We are NOT a political party
but a movement for social economic reform. We want to help restore
democracy in Europe and put public money and political power back in
the hands of all citizens. We want an economy that works for
the people and not for the ruling elite. Simply
spread the word to become part of the movement and together we can
be the catalyst for change.
